Then followed a 12 year spell working at two of Surrey's leading Car Audio & Security retailers, working on many prestigious cars,motor homes and boats, and being involved in the design and build of many high end audio & audio visual installs for customers and corporate demonstration vehicles.
Always wanting to go one stage further and broaden his knowledge, a decision was made to gain the relevant qualifications in Domestic Electrics and trained to C&G 17th edition, C&G 2391 inspection & testing, PAT Testing and Part P registered.
This led to the start up of Shocks Away.

Passion for Car Audio and In-Car Electrics
For Toby Green it all started in 1996, having always had a passion for car audio and in-car electrics, a chance trainee vacancy became available at a local Car Audio shop.
The dream became a reality and the passion turned into a career, gaining experience and knowledge on working on a wide variety of vehicles.
